Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 30/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to still feeling that headache and being slightly unwell. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was bright, the sky was relatively clear, with some decent sunshine, temperature wise it was just about comfortable. It was a late start for me but on purpose, not only did I want enough rest it hopes of waking up feeling better but I also wanted extra rest for the long night coming tomorrow. I was thankfully now feeling better this morning which I was initially worried that I wouldn't be able to shift until after New Years Eve, now I just have to make sure not to revert back to it. The late start was not a problem for me because I only had work later in the day, like this I still had time for chores and other things to get done. For our new years eve plans I got all the information needed, I'm glad we should have enough time to stop for some food before heading into the venue. I still had to get some messages out this morning, I'm just sad it's likely some friends may not be able to make it due to costs. I spent a good chuck of the morning trying to find a better deal for them, but with unfortunately little luck. I done what I could, and with my free time over I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was still cold regardless of seeing some decent sunshine, there was a lot of kids about also causing trouble. When I got to work things seem a little strange as I saw the superiors doing some of my usual work, I got suspicious and started looking over the schedule. It was only on my 2nd look over it that I noticed the guy who handles the extra work for whatever weird reason was only in hours later. This would mean that unfortunately I would be in charge of the extra work today which I really didn't expect nor want. I asked the superior if I was going to be in charge of it today and she said yes. I was annoyed 😡 about that, and instead kept trying to look at the positives. Regardless something about the whole thing still seemed strange especially considering the data I needed was still missing. I asked my boss about it to which he said it's just likely "a late update" issue. Well I waited and waited then decided to tell my boss about it again, he said he would look into it. I continued to wait to get started on this work until finally a superior showed up telling me there would be no extra work today. I was very very glad and heck that's karma for them placing me in charge of the extra work on a odd day without warning. I had all the paperwork filled out and everything ready so once I dealt with everything I went back to doing the usual work which I had not much longer to deal with because most of my time was used on something that was never even happening today, which honestly talk about terrible management on their part. Things started to get a little more hectic but luckily that was around my time to escape work, it was already dark out not as cold compared to earlier so I took my time getting home. Once I got home I got started with some chores, not many because I already had plans to meet with friends a little later than usual as I was out of work later this evening. Once I got online with them of course the topic quickly became about the new years plans which we organised. Soon after that I received a nice message from some friends that they are able to make it for tomorrow but we are still missing some. As for the quick work-outs I have finished the 2 weeks of extra rest and so hope to try and get one done after missing 35 days but with feeling like this it will likely continue to be on hold for longer. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, It was too late to check in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 you can expect new categories for the STEEMIT AWARDS so check out that blog post. At least Steem as been moving away from the dreaded middle ground, even if not the direction we all wanted. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
