Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/1/2026, under the hood it's been a 9 year project.
We have been posting here since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016, I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller ones.

There as never been a single power-down made on this account for all those active years, our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. Doing such things rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

Casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. We also try to use some of that Steem to buy even more, we are a top 300 Steem investor. That is not to brag but simply proof of work.

Jan 2026- Hello Steem supporters, made it for another day and hopefully more if the body continues the fight. The zombie doctor nonsense continues on, I went on a treatment that took me to bouncing between 70% to 85% recovery which is a good place, but what's very depressing are doctors are unwilling to help further. The nature of this condition is if it's still on-going it will eventually return, be much worse and can be fatal. On my last visit to the doctor he started suggesting the idea of a specialist, so I reached out to the specialist I want, and have recently finalised a meeting for the end of the month. It's still a long waiting time when your suffering trust me. But for now my task is to put together a summery of my symptoms, health concerns, history, medication, documents of previous tests and any further questions etc. It's a lot to put together and thankfully I have the time to do this until the actual meeting. I guess it's the one positive having this time, so I just hope that work won't get in the way. Once I can actually get all this together for the specialist clinic and if there still a gap between the appointment I will likely be pestering them for any possible patient cancellations in the hope that I can be seen a little earlier.

Today it was back to another early morning shift which was even made more difficult with the late bedtime. Apart from the cold weather what made the morning even worse was working with my least favourite superior. While she acknowledged me properly she wasted no time barking orders to work fast because of all the work that needs to be done. I was not too convinced it was going to be any worse than the past few days. And I was right looking at the numbers it's not any worse, like I have said previously for whatever weird reason people still seem to be thinking Christmas is around the corner. Anyway I tried my best to get what I could done knowing already it won't be enough, not very motivating is it.. But it's the situation they put you in. I was doing really well until again reaching task2, it was again in a mess making it much more difficult and time consuming to deal with. The superior didn't help which surprised me, I guess after the new year even if we are dealing with Christmas type volume of work they still refuse to help. She was of course not happy it was not completed on time, but you know what literally if she had just helped for 5 minutes maybe even less it would be done. It was clear she was mad as she continued to try and find more excuses to get angry. The atmosphere was getting bad in there so I couldn't wait to get out, again out of all the other people in charge she is the only one who behaves like this now and unfortunately most of the time I seem to be paired with her argh🙁.

I was happy to leave work and I said yesterday that I think in the past week I have felt perhaps 1% to 2% better in general on most days. My worry is by the time I get to the specialist they won't believe me to be sick enough for treatment. Well today I definitely fell a bit so I should of kept my mouth closed, could also just be a combination of stress and feeling tired but still I shouldn't feel like this of course. Today I spent some of my free time working on the summery for the specialist, specifically the summary of symptoms and questions. I worked on that also today but still have a lot to do for that, but soon I should have more time once my friends all return to work. I went online to meet with friends since they still continue on holiday but half couldn't be fully present. Surely after this weekend I thought things will start to settle down but but seems I was wrong many shoppers still tend to think it's "Christmas shopping" season. There are sales of course but honestly its like some people just never run out of money, yup and then they wonder why the government keeps squeezing us for more.

Being forced to go down the specialist route is going to make this all be much worse "cost wise" but honestly it seems to be my only option now argh🙁. I'm also not happy with the control freak authorities continuing to make it difficult to get hold on of any Steem. They are also having a total take-over of the internet under the guise of protecting children from harmful content, this also includes the ban of advertising for junk food. Supposedly to stop children buying junk food, however these morons seem to forget it's mostly the parents holding the wallet to BUY FOOD in the first place and not the children. We need the tools to regain back some of our dam privacy, especially online, and so if anybody knows of a truly free VPN let me know in the comments below, you could win a upvote from me. It's been a real shame to see Steemit having a lot of problems recently with content not being found. I'm sure around this time last year we had the same problems. When starting the new year at first it seemed the issues had finally been fixed but sadly it continued, but I think it's now been 4 days without issue. These problem are making the Steemit experience frustrating rather than fun. It's one of the worse times in the year to be having site problems, it's when I feel people are trying to make the most contact with each other and wanting to share much of what they are doing, this needs to stop being a issue around the festive time.
