Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. However it did drastically fall which many experts claim is just another price correction. I only mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow, strangely however not a lot of movement this time round from our own token compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as some would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. Last night I went to sleep just after the usual late hour, I guess this is what happens when life starts to return to normal after being so unwell. But it's not something I want going that late and so I hope to improve tonight. When I did go to sleep it was cold but fuelling that to is being unwell, still I'm better prepared for it by putting on a blanket over the sheets. Surprisingly while this does help it isn't by much but it seems to be enough to get me through the night. When I did go to sleep I woke-up a few times before my alarm, this was further of not what I wanted as I was already getting a lot less sleep compared to the previous week. While it's true that I have been over resting lately I still didn't want to push it after the last horrible week of feeling so unwell. What woke me up was likely just anxiety that I might miss work and not so much the brightness of the morning. The thing is since this flu I know that I'm going to get super tired very easily and so almost don't see the point of getting out of bed. I know it's not realistic of course but that's how it's been for the past week, well I tried going back to sleep this morning a few times with little luck. However I guess today I can say I felt better in general, it started 2 days ago where I feel more like I have moved from having a flu to a cold which seems to have the sign I was finally getting better. As for the weather this morning things were looking brighter with lots of sun shine and little cloud, it's been mentioned on the weather forecast that temperatures would start rising and I hope they are right. There wasn't any time to rest further this morning or get anything actually done because I had to be in for work soon. I skipped breakfast, sure there wasn't any time for it but that's ok because that was the plan. As I left and made my way for work there was still a little bit of wind that made it chilly if it was going towards you, but even before leaving I felt like it might be too hot to wear all I had on. When I got into work the usual guy was glad to see me so he could leave, we discussed how I felt that it's been getting busier lately but he doesn't seem to think so. For whatever reason today 2 people "he was one of them" had the cheekiness to tell me that I had been escaping the extra work lately which couldn't of been further away from the truth. It was literally this morning the only shift that I was escaping from being involved with it this week. Later I worked on one of the tasks from the weekly sheet, this is another one that I didn't want to do mostly because I feel like I'm wasting my time. As instead the superiors should be looking into the route of the problem. But honestly I didn't have really enough time to even get half of it done, I don't know why they keep giving me these longer tasks when they are not giving me the time to get them done. Well I done what I could before my time was up but before I could leave one of the superiors "the new one" got suspicious about my collection of pens. I think in her mind I have recently stolen pens from work or something which is just ridiculous, I have had these now for years. I mean didn't we all used to have pencil cases at school? This is what I mean you try to be and look prepared for your job by bringing in your things yet because your organised it must be too good to be true and so your must be a thief...?! Annoyed after leaving work I went to get some shopping done and was surprised this time I was able to find the products I was seeking. When the shopping was done I headed home enjoying the sunshine, however the wind had turned up a lot and it did bring with it some darks clouds which I thought was going to mean rain. When I got home I was feeling better and so tried to bring back some normality since being unwell by having a clear out. With that out of the way I went for a shower and then decided to finally try and go online to tell friends I was still alive. Still my plan is to continue what I'm doing to fight the flu as the past two weeks or more I got annoyed and said I was going to start trying everything to shift this as it just seems to keep coming back in a different form. I have been trying mostly natural things rather than going to big pharma and unfortunately nothing much seemed to be happening. But I will continue with this as I feel like I'm finally getting ahead and there is some light at the end of the tunnel. That time off I requested from work so I could attend the events with friends as been rejected, and since I went on tonight I was finally able to tell friends which came as a shock to them. So yes I won't be organising it myself this time like I usually do every other year but might still see if at the time I can somehow at least attend part of it as some of my friends already said they were still likely to go. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern", I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
