Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/8/2026, under the hood it's been a 9 year project.
We have been posting here since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016, I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller ones.

There as never been a single power-down made on this account for all those active years, our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. Doing such things rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

Casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. We also try to use some of that Steem to buy even more, we are a top 300 Steem investor. That is not to brag but simply proof of work.

Life's Diary Notes 📕🖊

Aug 2026- The body continues to fight this condition placed upon me. Since falling sick, and then fighting for my rights to treatment, the zombie doctors took me to the range of healing "possibly" up to 65% or 75% "maybe it was even less" of a full recovery. Reaching that point the zombie doctors could no longer help me, so I reached out to a specialist. I'm now on day 187 of the specialist treatment plan. It's been helping me to slowly minimize symptoms, keeping them calmer and less painful. But sadly not fully curing. The few bad occurrences I had since this treatment only happened during the first 90 days cycle. Which did place me worried that perhaps there may still be further underlining issues 🙁 but I guess for the moment it's a problem for later. Since the first 90 day cycle of treatment I'm now on even more medication. This initially caused me a lot of nausea, almost daily, but it fixed my side pains. And that nausea I just mentioned.. well I rarely get that now. It also seems to lesser the inflammation on my legs. I had "and passed" a 30 day streak where the inflammation on my legs as been minimal. I guess it could still return, but I can only hope not. I suppose I must have faith that this is all a sign towards improvement. I'm now on my 3rd cycle of another 90 days😫. Obtaining the treatment continues to be a challenge as I have to keep fighting the pharmacy to allow me excess to medicine. Which is not right, I shouldn't have to be doing this while unwell since already having gone through the correct and "yet costly" process.

I was back to work today for another early morning shift. While I slept ok it was not for long enough. At least the other day I managed to sleep for nearly 7 hours. So it is possible to still get that much sleep. However this rare occurrence now is likely only possible because I was really exhausted. And that was due to having a horrible night of sleep, it was simply too hot to sleep. On the way to work this morning it honestly looked like there was going to be a thunder storm, but nothing came of it. The clouds try to bring rain but it's not happening, well apart from a few drops here and there. I went to work this morning not knowing who I would have, but was mostly suspecting it would not be my least favourite superior. It was my boss this morning which is great. He no longer makes us coffee but that's fine as I rather do it my way. I was glad to see that task1 was going to be easy this morning, unfortunately task2 was inflated. It was still easy to deal with thankfully and task3 was also more inflated than what I like. But this was also easy to deal with. I noticed more stupid tasks had been written by other colleagues. I can bet you these were all only written when my least favourite superior was in shift. Because so far none of the others in charge have asked for the task sheet to be filled in with pointless jobs. After work while I did need to get some things from the store I still just went straight home. I just too much to get done at home since I have not been around much, stuck mostly at work.
