RE: Daily Steem Price Update 21/8/2025
Yea the checklist, actually recently at the infirmary the guy told me that in holland if you need a doctor you have to call and you actually get some kind of secretary/nurse in some kind of call-center who literally goes over a checklist as you say there before you are allowed any further.
In France, as my mother told me once, they have these machines in infirmaries that have a checklist, its not really A.I. but you can get a prelim diagnose from the machine there.
Shortage of md's ... i think in France they even get a bonus or some kind of stipend if they agree to open up shop in the boonies for x years but they still cant find enough. Same here, overloaded with specialists but not enough standard md's and
Last time at the doc she told me one of the big guys here had some plan that sounded suspiciously a lot like soviet healthcare ... THEY choose a doctor for you, you dont get a say in it and all doctors get paid a set amount per year per patient, wether they get 50 visits or none ... (what could go wrong with bribes and rich people, i mean humans are so honest after all)
Perhaps covid has really done a global thing to the brain
Last time i went to a specialist it was to have a nerve removed , it was like €400 or something i couldnt even pay that twice a month if i had to with what i have atm. And for some reason a few months after i had to have one done again. Wether they missed that or just ignored it ... then the dentist did it herself and it was like €50 lol ...
Just a number in the books, right ... not a free man. Processable goods until you're worn out and then the illusion of "a good old day"
which is also fading now they're hacking away at retirement and pension money
I think sudden money all depends on your mindset . Since im not interested in cars or yaughts i think i could handle a few million euros pretty well but i wont know until i find out and the chances seem slim.
Still, rolling over on the spot is not on my mind. If i think about the bitcoins in mt Gox and see the price now i probably should be depressed or something but i dont get depressed anymore ... actually i only been once in my life ... for real that is, lots of people confuse a bad hairday with depression quickly.
Its simple there : one day life itself will choose for me
until then i'll just keep going
Im sure you'll pull through (mentally i mean), these things take some time, all adjustments do
Your still going often, hopefully they are a little more competent at the infirmary there.
I guess soon enough we are just going to be throwing symptoms into the void in hopes a body will respond back.
It doesn't surprise me to hear that, it's like having to go through hell before you actually get to anybody who may be able to actually help, first we go through a computer system, if you pass that you get a phone call, next if they think it's needed you might see a triad nurse, they will then decide if another nurse will see you, if that nurse can't help they may pass you to a low grade doctor. And honestly most of these doctors seem useless to anything that isn't a common cold, and yet to already have to go through so much nonsense. Still it seems we have to go through these idiots if we want any hope in seeing a specialist. Even those I'm hearing are now often just doing the same basic steps as the first low grade doctor.
Soviet healthcare that's probably why when I turn up to these places there's sometimes barely a body around to be seen by the doctors, but no apparently they are so busy that I will likely need to go to a different practise, it's ridiculous, WHERE are the patients!?
Wow nerve removal sounds complicated I had a friend who got that done for sweating too much, it would also be a big decision to make, but I guess if it alleviates pain it can be worth it. I think unless you pointed it out to the doctors with a massive sign it's likely they wouldn't bother removing that other nerve, the only other thing I can think of is.. could it be possible the same nerve repaired itself.
A number on the books and never ever a free man since the day born into the giant prison cell that is earth under a government society. And just when you think retirement might give you some freedom they come after you with every rule change to make sure those who have worked their lives for something in the end we get some of that value stolen with taxes this and new taxes on that.
Cars or yaughts would only be something I would consider if it was a good few million very much spare, my priority would be to protect and get my money to work for me, the rest of such luxuries are not important.
I had a few opportunities with bitcoin that could of made me a ton of money, but I too rarely dwell on that missed opportunity.
That's actually insane to only get depressed once but a really good thing health wise, so I hear.
Thanks, I keep hoping I can still return back to being myself, fatigue wise there's been a massive improvement, but if I can't get rid of the underlining issue none of it will matter.
i guess that goes for most things : unless the root cause is addressed the problems will return, and usually in some kind of increasing form.
Something politicians dont seem to know much about : root causes lol . The nerve i meant was a nerve in my tooth, two times now, not being a doctor its hard to say but ever since the kid i had issues with my sine cavities and airducts (not sure what the word is in english - respiratory something) in my nose, eustachius to my ears, ton of ear infections as a kid but today they just treat antibiotics as if you're asking for heroin or morphine so most of the time i dont even bother going to a doctor, on top of the fact that you cant "just go" anymore. You need an appointment for everything and its usually a matter of 7 days or more "unless its urgent" and urgent keeps getting stronger definitions ...
I dont know how that soviet healthcare here is supposed to work because afaik they plan on making doctor visits free and giving doctors a set amount per patient they have on the roster , regardless of the number of consultations so in effect if they open up only 3 hours a day and leave the rest at the door they would get just the same amount as working 12 hours like some probably do now to get everyone through every day ... what could go wrong ?
not to mention bribes by the rich, thats why its pretty much "soviet" in my eyes (not just me)
but i dont even know if the plan is still on, also i didnt hear about the state taking care of health insurance and medication so if they take your incomeif you're down or ill you can't afford either, but you CAN get free doctors advice, assuming you have a doctor making time for the penniless AND
the state picks what doctor you go to (that too sounds a bit soviet huh)
And somehow, as i said here earlier this week
i sleep very well ... :)
See that's exactly right and "in some kind of increasing form" is what worries me the most, and it's why I'm trying soo much to get these brainless doctors "to just look out of the box" for one minute and see how going through the "process" will just make things much worse. It's why I would rather from the start head straight for the right treatment plan instead of wreaking everything on the way there, only to be told later oops well you messed yourself up by listening to previous zombie doctors and now there's nothing we can do.
Well I'm not sure if politicians actually don't realise the root causes.. likely they just play dumb, this way money still ends up in their pockets somehow.
It's sad to hear of these upper body issues when still so young, I hope these didn't hinder too much on having your childhood.
It's a double edge sword, I'm having issues with antibiotic resistance so I can understand why doctors are more hesitant to give them out. While in many cases they were not needed there are also many times when they are desperately needed and they are not being given which is just cruel. They desperately need to re-think their useless out-dated check-list and find better ways to diagnose patients because this nonsense is not only cruel but a death sentence.
No you really cannot just go anymore, recently I was able to secure a appointment to see a doctor but because I can't make it originally due to work, instead of just rescheduling me for a later time ( I didn't care if it was the same day or even 1 or 2 days later" but no instead they just keep backing the day up longer and longer, which again is not only unprofessional it's ridiculous and it's cruel.
The soviet healthcare seems to be alive here doing well, it's likely why they are not giving me a later appointment, I think they want to see all but a few patients between 8.00 to 13.00 after that the rest of the time until 18.00 must be some heck of a extended lunch break, because I walk in there and there are no patients and no dam appointments, how can this be!? How are they getting away with this garbage!
I'm glad you sleep well, there are some monsters out there who deserve it, but unfortunately there are a still few good humans left that get caught in this web.
good comments ? ofcourse, we excell at those ... thanks
