We have now reviewed all the proposals and selected 10 to take part in Season 28.

Please would all the teams selected confirm acceptance in a comment below and include their contact details (Discord / Telegram).
All teams should post their first posts by Sunday, November 16th. Season 28 will then begin on Monday, November 17th, 2025.
Each week teams should post instructions on how people can participate in their Challenge for that week.
Teams should respond to submitted posts within 24 hours.
Posts should be checked for plagiarism and AI use. Checking for club status etc does not need to be included in the comment.
Each week we would like all Teams to make a post announcing the six people who have produced the best responses to the week’s Challenge tasks.
All the weekly winners, as well as the weekly announcement posts, will receive extra prize votes from @steemcurator01.
We hope everyone will enjoy the new opportunities presented in Season 28 of the Steem Challenge.

Update to Account Registration System
To help make it easier to register new accounts on Steem, we have recently removed the requirement to use a phone number for the registration process.
Now new accounts can be registered using just an email address.
However to help prevent too many spam accounts only addresses from selected mail providers will be accepted.
Currently there are around 30 mail provider domains on the accepted whitelist including the most popular ones like gmail.com and outlook.com.

The whitelist will be regularly updated - please let us know if there are any other popular mail providers that should be added.
We hope this new process will make creating a new account on Steem much easier and quicker for everyone.
