If that is done. It would be unfair to some people who weren't on board from the beginning.... Its simply bringing the singularity complex into play because not only will regulars be left-out but others will be sidelined.
So delegating steempower to the most four proficient contributors is wrong and shouldn't be so. Everyone on steemjet deserves to be heard. Lets not sideline the responsibility to oldcomers alone.
I like your idea but it won't really help.....
Just as @dimimp has said, tell him why you need it and what you can do with it and how you will do it and he will delegate.
And I'm sure you deserve a delegation too bro. You deserve some accolades.

brother to me. giving dsp out to more knowledgeable steemjetters will aid quick response to new members coming on board. the dsp is to all and sundry for those who cant be reached and welcomed by @dimimp, this will reduce the rate at which those using the steemjet tag , dont rec a visit by @dimimp himself. like you read for one month now he hasnt visited those using the steemjet tag and this shouldnt be so
I totally agree with you. We can't just pick delegates because we've partcipated longer in the affairs of the community. It would be unfair to new members, who might be more credible when it comes to the task.
Frankly, i think choosing the four delegates should be put out by votes;let everyone have a say of whom they would like.

Oh, I think I see what you mean, yeah, delegates are going to be awarded work based on their performance, and compete as we grow just like the steem witness model. Free market competition Darwin dog eat dog models seem to work in nature, as this model has achieved global adoption which is what we are after, and immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
If I say you should put me in the four Steemjet Curators then i don't deserve it because there are members here better than me !!

These guys getting rewarded NOW did not get huge liquid steem payouts for doing what they do BEST.

Voting will be a good way. But how feasible can it be? Organising it could be more tasking
Nahh.. I totally disagree with you.. how will you propose voting as a solution. then someone who might not be knowledgeable about the whole STEEMJET project or who just joined today can just amass his community to support him and everything becomes messed up. Voting won't be appropriate . I believe @dimimp knows those who know what the STEEMJET project is and it's visions. so he basically knows what he's doing. thank you.

And I think that the gist of his idea is that we can have different targets for different delegates. Some make sure that contest winners dont feel left out while others make sure that newbies don't feel left out, while others dig for gems, while others maintain our core, etc...

Yeah but voting is a terrible idea it'll mess everything up, we already have a lot of people who understand almost everything about this community and @dimimp knows who is best for these positions.
Like he said, all those who perform badly will be un-delegated. So let's leave the decision to him and see what happens next.

Well said @dimimp. for me voting is a total "NO" in this case just like @ubongj said. you know the fore-runners of this project just as I and some few others. If we go by voting someone can just amass votes for his/herself and you waste time delegating and un-delegating him. This further drags steemjet to the mud. I know a solution to this BTW.
