Oh what a lovely post you made here, I really enjoy reading it and it is great to get to know you a little better Katie! I also love Cirque du Soleil! I have only seen videos from their performances though, but hope to see them live one day! Also I think what you write about motherhood is interesting, I read about someone else that sayes exactly the same! I think the norm is that women should want to have children, but we really need to question that. So many women (and men) are having children without actually wanting to become a mother/father. We should feel free to follow our hearts and make the decisions that we comfortable with.
That's also why the right for short is so important. No-one should be forced to do something they don't want. A child truly changes the whole life.
And as a perent you are responsible. I am happy you could make a decision that is right for you, and I hope many more women can do the same.
As I was younger I didn't want to have children as well, but than someday I changed my mind. Can't tell exactly what happens though...
