Today, I prepared Sevai ki Kheer (vermicelli pudding). This dessert is not only quick to make but also tastes absolutely delicious; everyone in my household loves it immensely. To prepare this Sevai ki Kheer, you will need the following ingredients:
One bowl of vermicelli
One liter of milk
Two bowls of sugar
Cashews
Raisins
Cardamom
First, I added a little refined oil and roasted the vermicelli until it turned a golden-brown color. Then, I set the milk to boil. While the milk was simmering over a medium flame, I added the roasted vermicelli to it.
Once the vermicelli began to soften, I crushed some green cardamom pods and added them to the pot, followed by the sugar. I stirred the mixture thoroughly until it thickened, the sugar dissolved completely, and a delightful aroma began to waft from the dish; at that point, I added the raisins and cashews. I then turned off the stove, and—just like that—our Sevai ki Kheer was ready to serve!
