Shopping Before Our Travel Trip
Hey Dear Steemian friends!
Before heading out on any trip to tourist places, I always make time for shopping. It feels like I am filling up my adventure tank with new ideas. Yes, I have my plans to spend time traveling during the month of March.

Today, I decided to go shopping right here in before visiting some amazing spots like this shopping mall and a few local shops. Why? Because nothing beats fresh picks from local malls to make your journey comfy and stylish!
I started at DH Market, got my tickets and hotel booking printed, That's right, I have no printer here at y home.
I have my go-to for budget deals available here besides my accumulated points. First stop, clothes. I grabbed a few in light cotton in light colors, perfect for coming comparatively hot days at tourist sites.
They were right, in budget, super soft and breathable. No heavy fabrics that make you sweat while walking in the crowded streets!
Next, comfy walking shoes from stall. My old are okay but not for the sites I am planning to visit, so these cushy ones with good grip that will handle the rough walking paths at this busy place where I would need to take them off often and easily.
Then, onto accessories. A stylish backpack from the wholesale shops, big enough for water bottle, snacks. It costs right and has extra pockets for my wife's clothes, shoes and a few other items .
Speaking of essentials, I stocked up on sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and wet wipes, all from the same shopping mall. You see, I Can't risk sunburn or bites during evening walks at tourist parks!
No shopping trip is complete without foodie hauls. So I went in the food and confectionery section and picked local sweets and snacks. Perfect snacks for travel and picnic spots. I also bought a few bottles of ready to drink fruits juices, a perfect combination while exploring monuments.

And I will replace our water bottles, so got two steel ones, Eco-friendly and these keep drinks better cold!
I am planning to buy a power bank because tourist days mean tons of photos and videos. My phone camera loves capturing heritage vibes, and this keeps it charged.
A quick stop at an electronics shop for earphones because I have a headphone which won't be handy on a trip like this.
Thanks for no haggling in this place and loyalty discounts at this place is an added advantage as I hate bargaining.
Shopping like this makes me excited for the trip. It's not just buying stuff but it's prepping memories. Light clothes for comfort, yummy snacks for energy, and everything available at one point.
I always plan a tourist outing, and hit the market first! I start doing it what I must buy before a week from starting the trip.
By the way my shopping before tourist outing focuses on historical sites, which I will keep posting and let me share a secret, this trip is the reason I did not apply for curatorship for March.
