A Daughters Cries

"Daddy, come quick," his little girl cried out.

It was as faint as a whisper. In a panic, he jumped up and rushed down the hallway.

He ripped open the door and stumbled into her room. When the twisting horror inside jumped him, he remembered.

His daughter wasn't home.
