This is a fun subject, so many times chasing the sunset for it to fail. :(
Setting a timer on your camera for a silhouette with oneself your partner is a good one.
I have a great one of a gibbet ( real gibbet ) at sunset silhouette. Well worth experimenting with the technique. :)
