RE: HARI PALING BERSEJARAH & BERMAKNA BUAT BUMI MALAYSIA.....!!!!!

In my opinion, It is suppose to be called National Day. No matter though, it is a compromise i believe Sarawakians and Sabahans are willing to make as they are a step in the right direction for the nation to move forward and recognize its true history.

There are bigger problems this country is facing and a crisis we are seeing that is unfolding to the suffering of us the people. Lets hope that when the time comes, We can remember that the true strength of the nation, the real power, is held by us the people, Malaysia's Lifeblood.

For your information History is factual. Fact means fact. You cant alter history. That's a different between National Day and Malaysia Day. To know the different between National Day and Malaysia Day you need to refer back to history.

History is written by the victors - Winston Churchill

There is nothing to be altered in the History of the formation of Malaysia, which i am very proud of. We are the few countries formed without major bloodshed.

What i am doing is to bring to light ALL the facets of history, reveal history from all sides and not just one, which i feel is more important when it comes to understanding our history. Because the history is already there. and for over 50 years, it has been neglected. which in my opinion is worse than trying to alter history.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. - George Santayana

"National Day" is when the 11 states in Peninsular Malaysia federated into a single Federation of Malaya.

Which, as a Sarawakian, does not matter to me directly. As Sarawak itself has it's own independence day (unknown to most West Malaysian) on the 22nd of July 1963. It was only 2 months later on the 16th September 1963, that Singapore (later expulled),Sarawak, Sabah (then refered to as North Borneo), and the Federation of Malaya federated into the Federation of Malaysia (Malaysia) after the signing of the Malaysia Agreement. Which is what is now celebrated as "Malaysia Day".

I feel that too much emphasizing of independence of Malaya with little regards to the other more important date is quite disenfranchising to the people of Sabah and Sarawak. As i feel that the Federation of Malaysia bears much more significance to the formation of Malaysia rather than just the independence of half of the country.
