6/12/2020 Entry to the Steemit Diary Game - Visiting Another Park. . .

in #the100daysofsteem5 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone! This is my next entry for the Diary Game! Yesterday was a good day, and I will recount everything here!

My Life

I woke up yesterday at 10am, which was again surprising, but I enjoyed the rest. The first thing I did was shower, and get ready. I wore my Steem Polo yesterday despite it being casual Friday. For those who do not know, when I was in school, I had a clothing routine. It went like this:

Monday - Steem Polo
Tuesday - American Flag Polo
Wednesday - Polo of my choice
Thursday - Cowboy boots day (I didn't wear them every week) and a random polo again
Friday - Casual Friday. On casual Friday, I always wore jeans and my Steem T-shirt

I like to start and end the week on Steem. Yesterday I wore the polo because I wanted to look nice, and I'd already worn the T-shirt.

Anyway, after showering, I wrote several articles on Steem. The first was the Music For Steem submission. I just want to say that Emma and I are very thankful for the support that received! We did not expect it to trend, and are very grateful to everyone who made that happen! After writing that article, I wrote the journal entry. That took a little longer than expected because of the Call of Cthulhu summary.

Around noon, I printed out the music for next week's submission, and began practicing. This week, I picked something that is a little bit my taste than Emma's (she told me I could pick this week), and it has a much harder piano part than Let It Be. So I have to practice it a bit. I hope it comes out all right.

Anyway, I practiced until about 3pm, and at 3pm I left to go meet @esouthern3 at a park. I thought I had time, so I took a long route, but I wound up being 10 minutes late. My car's clock is not correct ever since it went to the shop, and I had no idea what time it was. That was interesting. Moral of the story, wear a watch. But I learned my lesson about jewelry and parks. . .

Emma looked very pretty yesterday (as she does every day)! She and I walked around the park for a while, and talked.

I did something mischievous which I am very proud of myself for. I asked if we could sit down, and she jokingly said no, but I did it anyway. She kept walking. So I ran all the way around the park in the opposite direction (I knew I'd run into her if she kept walking). When I got to the point that I had left (like 5 or 10 minutes later), she was sitting on the bench texting me to see where I went. I sat down, and said "I see you decided to sit down after all." I did have a bit of trouble breathing after that because of my asthma (I ran as fast as possible around the park), but that was an excellent excuse to sit down again like 5 minutes after we got up. Here's a picture we got at the park:

Around 5pm, we decided to leave the park, and go home to play minecraft bed wars. I think I have given Emma an addiction. We did not win much at first. For whatever reason, evening is the absolute worst time to try and win. Around 6pm, two of my other friends messaged me and asked if we wanted to play with them, so we joined forces and played fours. We won a little bit more after that because one of them is really good.

Fun fact that I learned during this time. Yesterday was Casey's birthday! Casey is Emma's family's cat. She sent me a picture of him, and it is too adorable not to include:

Emma and I played until 9pm, at which point my dad asked if I wanted to go pick up dinner with him. So I signed off and helped him pick up dinner from Unos.

For dinner, I had lactose-free pizza. I learned that it was not a fluke the first time; their lactose-free pizza is really good! It is the most realistic lactose-free pizza I have had. It was, in fact, better this time because my amazing mother ordered extra cheese! Here is a picture of that:

Edit: Update

I also got a new book from my mother which is Homer's Odyssey illustrated by N.C. Wyeth. I hope to write music using that as inspiration!

I do have to read it first to get ideas. Perhaps I will make a series of reviews.

After dinner, I worked on the discussion post, and set up the new Steem Greet community. Look out for a post soon on that! Also, this week's discussion is on family stories. I invite you all to come join in for a portion of the liquid rewards!

I then went to bed around midnight. I brought Binx to bed with me, and kept the door open. Here is a picture I got of him:
