SLC27-W4 // De-Cozy Delight Bakery🥯
A week ago, a buddy whom I referred to as Steemit delivered some bread to my home. I tried it, and it tasted good. I purchased some for friends that showed up, and they enjoyed it. They only started their firm three weeks ago, but they already have a brand name, and their packaging astounds me. I wouldn't be examining just a place where bread or baked goods are exhibited for sale to customers; I actually went to a Bakery, felt the heat, conducted an interview, and grasped performance and what it meant to work here. Now, let's go.
✓ Name, location and hours of the bakery.

Bakery Building
De-Cozy Delight Bakery is actually beginning to surface, and though it started 3 weeks ago, it is competing with and picking up from a very good bakery on the other side of the street. It is situated in one of the busiest places in Uyo, and you know that where women are found at every corner is always the busiest because either they line up to plait their hair or get make-up, etc. As a result, De-Cozy Bakery is conveniently located on Oku Street in Uyo, near Women Affairs. The direction to get here is actually simple. Pick a bus from the plaza opposite Epic Plaza. Tell the driver to stop you at Oku Street. From there, trek a short distance to Amazing Grace Plaza to ask for the site of De-Cozy Bakery; you will be directed upstairs. Simple.

Baking Mould For Brioche Bread
This bakery is actually a new one, and as such, the employees work almost round the clock to make sure that they meet customers' needs. Actually, people come in, buy in bulk, and sell as retailers; their working hours differ for themselves and for customers.
For themselves, it's not totally static because they may bake while waiting for additional things to become available.
| Days | Opening Hours |
|---|---|
| Monday—Saturday | 8:00am—9:00pm |
| Saturday (General State Sanitation) | 10:30am—9:00pm |
✓ Details of the different products offered (quality, price).
I previously said that De-Cozy Bread had just begun manufacturing following NAFDAC approval, therefore this bakery offers a wide range of bread options for its clients. The quality of this product has led me here to write a review after tasting their bread, which demonstrates that their product is truly cosy. They are currently focussing on bread products, which are the most popular baked item in Uyo.
| Product | Price in Naira | Steems |
|---|---|---|
| Sliced Bread | N1500 | 10.8 steem |
| Hexagon Bread | N300 | 2.1 steem |
| Brioche | N700 | 5.0 steem |
The bakery will definitely advance to making cakes and baking other items.
✓ Payment methods.

|---|
In a world where technological advancement meets business, De-Cozy Bakery is not left behind; transfers are made directly to the owner's account, there is a counter where breads and other baked products are displayed, customers select what they want and bring it to the sales boy, and the transfer is made, confirmed, and the purchased item is realised. I actually purchased two octagon-shaped loaves and payed with this button.
✓ Other points that you consider relevant to mention.
I didn't talk much about the facilities; this is the point I would love to elaborate on.
![]() | Extractor Fan |
|---|
The bakery has an extractor fan;when it blows, it pulls heat out of the oven.
![]() | Electrical Mixer |
|---|
It also has a mixer; a traditional bakery may not have this, but De-Cozy Bakery has it.
![]() | Measuring Scale |
|---|
Everything is measured, and this bakery has different scales for measurement: the table scale and the floor scale.
![]() | Electrical Bread Cutter |
|---|
It also has a cutter for bread, most especially sliced bread.
![]() | Electrical Oven |
|---|
A big electric oven is by the side of the bakery; it can be rolled as it has a tyre.
✓ Details about its structure, atmosphere, and service, among others
I never expected the building of this bakery to be so professional; there is a room that is cosy, just like the name. This three-story building is well-spaced, and De-Cozy Delight Bakery is placed on the second floor, near the left corner of the building. If this bakery adds more baking items in such a bustling environment, it will undoubtedly draw consumers and increase sales. Entering this place offered me a different idea of enterprises; the quality of your bakery relies on your budget and what you intend to create. Those who bake cakes in smaller quantities to deliver to customers who call when they need them may not require a large space like this, but putting up a place to a desired standard costs a lot of money, and according to the interview, this place spent more than N3,000,000 (21,810 steem) to set up the facilities I'll show you in the pictures.
✓ What type of bread do you think best represents your country's baking tradition?
Have you heard of Agege bread? It's very popular in Nigeria. How does it taste? It's a bread not too sweet, not too tasteless, but balanced in sugar and butter. I actually found this in this bakery. The Agege bread is produced as a slice but as a brown bread.
✓ What is your favourite baked good from the bakery?
As previously indicated, I was drawn to the economical and tasty hexagon bread. I enjoy the bread they produce. I haven't tried the N1500 sliced bread because I didn't have much money; it could have been the best. The best is easily determined by how many things you try. I can't taste all of the products, but the one I tried was my favourite.
✓ Do you think there is anything the bakery could improve?
Yes, I have a lot of improvement to suggest, but this bakery just began production about 3 weeks ago, and a bakery like this should be appreciated for how far they have gone in just 3 weeks. The place is a busy arena, and it is not hard for publicity to be made, so I would love to see new bakes to attract more customers. Lastly this bakery should put their brand name above this building as well.
