This week marks Week #6 Popular Restaurant and today I am excited to share my experience at a famous and highly loved spot located in the heart of Hayatabad Food Street.

This time I visit very well known local restaurant name “Zayad Restaurant” Which is name after it owner. It is one of the most popular Afghan Style food point in the area especialy known for it delicious Kabuli Pulao & Penda.

Kabuli Pulao

A traditional Afghan dish made with tender meat long grain rice spices and top with fried raisin and carrots. The portion was generous flavorful and perfectly cook.

Penda

A rich thick and creamy dish prepared with meat and bone marrow. It is more expensive because of the quality and effort required to prepared it.

Environment Service & Ambience

The restaurant is located in the open food street market style. Seating is Sasual but comfortable. One of the best things about the restaurant is that you can see the coking live adding trust and excitement to the Experience.

The staff was friendly and served the food quickly. Many families and group of friends were dining there showing how popular the place really is.

What is the typical dish that represented the gastronomy of Your country?

In Pakistan one of the most iconic National dish is Biryani. It is love across the country for its Rich flavor Spice & aroma. Every city has it is own Version of it.

If you had to recommend dish from this restaurants what would it be and why?

I would highly recommended Kabuli Pulao because it is the specialty of this restaurant. The taste aroma tender meat and authentic Afghan style makes it a must try meal When visiting Hayatabad Food Street.

Name a popular dish from another country that you have trie or would like to try?

I would loved to try Turkish Doner Kebab one day. I have seen many video showing its juicy meat and Unique flavor and it look delicious

My experience at Zayad Restaurant was Very enjoyable. even though the restaurant is simple the food quality taste and popularity make it a great option for Anyone Who loves Afghan cuisine. I Would defnitely visit again with friend and family.
