RE: A traveler who doesnt`t travel

Our biggest curse is that we never feel completely at piece and satisfied. We are programmed this way so that we will always keep moving and changing.
I think however, that we can fight this programming.

But just like with everything in life it takes hard work and patience.

It seems the more we slow down though the bigger the voice becomes in our head, and we have to face thoughts we don't usually have to because we are always distracted. I think we have to accept these feelings and welcome them because they allow us to find more answers to who we truly are deep inside.

Sort:

I actually wanted to write about soemthing else but suddenly I kept thinking and thinking.

This never be satisfied man who lives in many of our heads is a curse and a blessing. We should aim to constantly better ourselves but also be satisfied and happy what we achieved and what we got.

A small grade between those to seems to be the holy grail in a way.

And I also agree with you about accepting those feelings and kind of embrace them but not take them too serious as we know they gonna pass and be replaced.

Being a spectator in a way.

But also writing helps to get something out of your system :-)

Writing definitely is good therapy. Because if we let the thoughts stay in our head, or fight them, they become stronger and can even become a nuisance.

Like you say we can't take life too seriously. I think that is definitely key. I've had quite a lot of problems in my life with negative thoughts and depression, the best medicine for me has always been to realize that I have to be my own best friend. Sounds cheesy but I think it's true.

Sometimes we push ourselves too hard and sometimes not enough. Like you say somewhere in between is the holy
Grail !
