Cotocachi is first the name of a volcano, but in the city of the same name, in Ecuador, you can admire several levels of vegetation. From the level of the Cotacachi summit to the humid tropical forest in the lower parts of the canton, close to the Pacific Ocean, the altitude goes from 4939 m to 200 m.
