RE: A traveler who doesnt`t travel
When people start to read the book of life from within themselves they tend to come across one particular page and get stuck. It is good to see you getting onto a new page with your life.
I like that metaphor.
Trying to always be reflecting and evolving.
Your post title caught my eye. As I have travelled myself a lot on my feet and in my mind too. I do find with a lot of people who call themselves travellers are actually more like tourists disguised as travellers. When you see those so-called travellers lugging everything with them like loads of camera gear, lots of clothing and probably brought their own kitchen sink with them. Especially when you see them from their social network platforms staying in fancy hotels or rented homes. To me that is living like a tourist cos they have surrounded themselves with cotton wool like still swimming in their own comfort zone. Whenever I travel I just take a 25 litre racksack, tarp, firebox for cooking, sleeping bag and 3 set of clothing. No fancy hotels for me I just sleep beneath the night sky and breathe in that morning dew every morning. I think once in our life we should all take a jump without a parachute jump and I totally respect what you doing too.
sounds pretty adventurous your traveling style :-)
I have 2 backpacks I think the big one is 75 litre. It holds pretty much all my stuff I own.
I want some comfort but the kind of traveling you are decribing sounds nice and maybe I will try that, too.
I want to walk at some point. That would probably be the time than for that :-)
