Travel to Bang Pu Recreation Center, Samutprakarn province, watching lots of seagulls - Part I
Let's go traveling to “Bang Pu Recreation Center”, in Samutprakarn province or is well-known in short as “Bang Pu”.
In the past, Bang Pu was just a place that local people used for relaxing and exercising.
At present, Bang Pu has become one of the most famous tourist attractions near Bangkok.
Every year, the highlight of Bang Pu is during the end of October - March, there will be many seagulls migrating to escape the cold from Siberia to the Gulf of Thailand. It seems that more than a thousand of them fly to vacation at Bang Pu.
These make Bang Pu become a beautiful landmark in taking pictures of seagulls.
When arriving at Bang Pu, you will be attracted by the large white letters stating the Bang Pu name in the Thai language. This sign is one of the popular corners for photography.
In front of the entrance door, there are magnificent golden Thai shrines which are believed to protect the place.
The entrance door is in very large size and painted with white color.
Bang may imply to place or area, Pu means crab - as you may notice small sculpture of crab after the Bang Pu name in the Thai language at the entrance door.
Entering the entrance door, you will find “Sukta Bridge”, (Suk means happy, Ta means eyes), which is a bridge that connects to “Sala Sukjai” (Sala means pavilion, Suk means happy, Jai means mind), which is a white building at the end of the bridge.
As you will see the name Sukta Bridge in the Thai blue letters stating at the entrance door.....
Along the way, you will see mangrove forests at both sides of the bridge and the sea’s scenery is picturesque.
And the most exciting moments are when facing thousands of seagulls flying to and fro and over our heads to say hello.
If you were there with me, you may surely say million WOWs, for sure.

Very beautiful nature and magnificent photos. I liked the birds over the surface of the water, an impressive look. Thank you very much.
Sorry for my late reply. I like the birds over the surface of the water, too. I'm glad that you like these photos of them. Many thanks! ;)
