Wat Ruak, a small temple, but fascinating temple
Wat Ruak is a small temple, but fascinating. It’s the first temple in the Phrapradaeng district. I occasionally found this temple when I strolled down from my mom’s condominium to see the surrounding area.
It’s the entrance that attracted my eyes and invited me to go inside the temple. The door is decorated beautifully with the four small majestic three-head Nagas with green bodies on the left and the right side. And another two bigger Nagas on both sides of the temple wall as well.
On the top of the door, you will see the sculpture of the God in green body (unfortunately, I don’t know his name.., sorry!) riding the white elephant three-head Erawan.
Going inside, you will see a marvelous pavilion, named Luang Pho Sai Pavilion, where a statue of Luang Pho Sai (monk) which looks sacred is situated.
There is also another golden Buddha statue for people to worship.
The buildings in Wat Ruak are magnificent in Thai design and mainly in golden color.
Even the light pillars have marvelous designs with the sculpture of swans which looks outstanding in the air.

I enjoyed taking photos of the temple until I saw these temple dogs lying and sleeping comfortably on the temple ground, so I made a video of them.

When I was about to walk further inside the temple, one monk warned me that there were other dogs inside, but they are fierce dogs who may bite strangers like me… So, I stopped surveying the temple and went out immediately. Haha! That’s the end! ;D
