01. What kind of religious cultural place have you visited? Introduce briefly.

Recently, I visited an Islamic religious place called Masjid Al Mustafa, located in Dhaka. This modern mosque was inaugurated in May 2025. It is situated beside Madani Avenue and is beautifully designed, inspired by the structure of the Holy Kaaba. Every day, a large number of Muslims come here to offer their prayers.

The mosque is located just beside the main road, and the road condition is very good, so reaching this place is quite easy. It is very close to United International University and United Medical College Hospital, which makes the location easy to find even for first-time visitors.

Although it is located in a busy area of the city, once I entered the mosque, I felt like I had stepped into a peaceful and sacred world. The environment is very clean, calm, and full of spiritual dignity. For Muslims, this is a large and spacious mosque with modern facilities, making it a comfortable and peaceful place for worship.

02. What kind of religious activities are seen here? (With pictures + videos)

As Masjid Al Mustafa is an Islamic religious place, the main activity here is the regular five daily prayers. This five-storied modern mosque can accommodate around 10,000 Muslims at a time for prayer.

During Jumu’ah prayer, the presence of worshippers is especially noticeable. In addition, Quran recitation, supplications are also held here regularly.

During the month of Ramadan, the mosque becomes even more lively and spiritual. Taraweeh prayers, Iftar arrangements, and special prayer gatherings are organized. Last Ramadan, nearly 2,000 people took part in Iftar together at this mosque.

03. What attracted you the most about this place?

The thing that attracted me the most about this mosque is its spacious, calm, and spiritually peaceful environment. The interior of the mosque has been designed in a very unique way, which creates a soothing and different kind of feeling once you are inside.

A mosque is the house of Allah, a sacred place for prayer, remembrance, Quran recitation, and prostration. Along with this spiritual purity, the beautiful and unique interior design of Masjid Al Mustafa makes the place even more comfortable for worship.

The most unique and attractive part for me was the central circular area of the mosque. From this place, you can see the other floors of the mosque. It seems to be the area just beneath the main dome, and it truly gives a special architectural experience.

All necessary facilities such as ablution areas, shoe racks, escalators, and elevators are available. Moving between floors is very easy and convenient. Quran copies are also available inside the mosque, so anyone can take one and recite.

Overall, the peaceful environment, modern facilities, and unique interior design impressed me the most.

04. Is there any special moment or experience?

The most special experience for me at this mosque was the moment I offered my prayer. Although I did not get the chance to pray in a large congregation, as I did not stay long in Dhaka, I still performed my prayer here.

The moment of performing ablution (Wudu) in the mosque also felt very special to me. I believe that coming to a mosque, making Wudu, and offering Salah are moments that are truly meaningful.

By the mercy of Allah, I was able to come here in good health and perform my prayer peacefully. Allah gave me the strength to step away from all the busyness and worries of life and come to His house. This feeling of spiritual peace is what made this visit truly special for me.
