Being too nice

Not two weeks ago came home molested and he's already cleaning up their mess again.

this was three days after ... since he's basically a PTSD war veteren with 5 runs in iraq and six in afghanistan and syria he recovers quite fast, but on the other hand he has traits that even for a cat that's been properly given attention and developed their own personality to the point where they're a little person, say nothing but : PTSD ! ... skitzo, sometimes he's in a place and he snaps out of it and has to get his bearings to see where he is ... (herbeleving so to speak, i wish i were imagining things but after 45+ years of cat whisperer im actually not - i have plenty of reference, maybe not as much as sapolsky on primates that arent iMates yat but plenty to make conclusions and compare)
He's flat too at times, he sees a dog and instead of running he just lies down , a sign of subservience they do amongst each other that says "i dont wanna fight" but he seems to confuse this place with his former place and the murderdogs that have been taught you chase cats for sport are very present here even if they werent there.

When he first got here, the first months he LITERALLY slept with half open eyes , like Gandalf in the movie ? EXACTLY ... took like four or five months before i caught him sleeping on cloud nine with eyes actually closed.

A real veteran, HOWEVER ... humans are the worst filth ofcourse

then what do i see when i go up today ?

Praise him ofcourse, not that he needs it because the catching itself is a reward to the cat brain here, the chase actually , like that motorhead song because after the catch it quickly stops moving.

I have to think, if everyone here in this FINE neighbourhood had one of him next to their lethal dog they carry without license or their little pugs, all those dogs would grow up to be not cat-unfriendly, xept the ones kept by armchair psychopaths and superstitious folk that hasn't left the dark ages yet.

There WOULDNT BE ANY RATS IN THE WHOLE HOOD, even at the current garbage rates and gods know who all slaughters what in the backyard. I think the state doesnt bother anymore, it used to be a big thing on the cultural difference where "you dont slaughter your livestock on the sidewalk" but the mix is too big ... doesnt make for evil people, makes for cultural clash which will never subside

like when they brought in the italians it took generations to mix properly into acceptable cohesion, then when the italian government forbade their citizens to come to belgium ( I WONDER WHY ... ) they brought moroccans ... now THEY still havent mixed in completely, its not just the injection , its the bigger cultural difference compared to the romans +
the biggest issue : they have added 80 more different ones before the last one mixed down into cohesion

Honestly, even as a kid i have NEVER heard anyone talk about THOSE DAM ITALIANS while the old man and his friends had barfights with them every week like turqs with afghans now , only without knives

SO THERE WOULDNT BE ANY RATS .. i cant remember seeing one rat in all those decades before they took the strays away and LOTS MORE PEOPLE HAD CATS HERE in the former years

never mind the minimalist approach to the house , the addamses arent much into that ... maybe a bit too much not much enough sometimes and they spent on that house in france and there's a whole slew of stuff around it so i dont bother anymore and frankly
