i was sitting there thinking whoa this thing is gonna go full debris ... but 64k aint 64k no more then ... its still more than we could handle without using godot (dont wanna mention unity after what they pulled with the 200 people and then did have the 4 billion to buy another company next week, any smart dev would do the same, but ofcourse , aint no one here a dev, a pro, a designer, or even l33t ....) UE is too much, and i compiled it once on linux ... it just kept going and i found out that the HARD DRIVE WAS TOO SMALL ... it didnt even warn up front like "you are 40 gb short", no it just started and kept running ... afterwards i compiled it to a bigger one and found out you couldnt even use the asset store (on linux) so that was that and i bet Unreal Engine isnt aimed at solo or even small groups , just like Unigine
you CAN do stuff in it ofcourse, but theres SO many options in Unigine its easy to get lost ... STILL, if Musk accidentally bought half a billion copies of any game on itch or just one copy for a small billion i think we would pick unigine to work with after we handpicked our team from people we used to know and some starving koreans, chinese and japanese on top ... outsource a small bit to Sandfall for 10 million (i mean they show they could haha) and 20 on completion and voila ...

this is something you could pull off by your lonesome in Godot ... ofcourse add audiovisuals it takes time unless you can fiver someone or a few to do that part ... i dont know if fiver still exists and it was horrible to see how they dunked prices but now you have THE a.i.

a tyrnannoght game with a qudlike interface in godot would be totally doable - for raspberry-pi exclusive, aiming at the crowd, hoping to get the money back double there or for pi and pc via steam (if i had to pick one, id pick steam over epic, they eat more of your cash but somehow they seem to give you more chances, like 2% chance instead of 1% chance AND, even if we wouldnt buy games on steam anymore even if we still had income due to the thing with the €150 they pulled on us without a decent explanation, until they give that back)

today i saw first that the EZF game for the c64, despite it runnign completely fine and the save part doesnt crash and seemingly saves
when i open the kungfu cart it doesnt give the option to "do you want to overwrite the image or save to a new file" you get when your ezf game has altered the flash memory
so we'll need to investigate , it works 100% fine on VICE , and we own briley 1 and 2 and soulforce from previous lives so we can reference in imhex and some disassembler if need be to see what exactly is different because those two work (on both the breadbin and the ugly case model)
so glad we bought those before what we predicted actually happened
