ULOG(012): Missing Ayebami Baptist Church

Anytime I remember my former church I will be like why is O.O.U doing like this, why are they having many campuses. If not because we move to Shagamu here I would still be in my old church Ayegbami Baptist Church Ago-Iwoye but now I am going to Christ Apostolic Church because I can’t find A Baptist church where my campus is, so I have no choice than going to CAC.

Although there are many Christian denominations in Nigeria but still yet Baptist is the best, I am always proud to be born in Baptist, Proudly Baptist family.

Here are few things I recently observed about CAC and Baptist;

• Whenever Baptist wants to start their service the chorister’s will rope outside and from outside they will sing from their hymn book inside while CAC don’t do that, they sing inside the church and the reason to this difference is what I am unable to find.

• Concerning the hymn there are differences in the lyrics of Baptist and CAC but the tone is the same

• Yeah, the dressing of their ministers are far different, CAC pastors have Black and white Cloth that they normally wear whenever they have special Programs but Baptist doesn’t have clothes, they wear suit once they have special programs.

• Baptist church has Royal ambassador and Usher but CAC only have Usher. Royal ambassador is a group for boys starting from 15years and above.

• We also have G.A (Girl Auxiliary) and Lydia in Baptist church but CAC doesn’t have.

• We call our children Sunbeam in Baptist but CAC call theirs Children department.
