Movies are an important part of my life. They can inspire, make you think out of the box. Sometimes they can make you question yourself and look back at your life or perhaps even see your future. This is my recent favorites movie contributed to understanding the ancient life better, personal lesson and making me a good person.

Tumbbad - A 2018 Indian Hindi-language period horror cum thriller film is no less than any Hollywood fantasy film. Tumbbad is one of my favorite films. Not only the acting, the brilliant direction, breathtaking cinematography and amazing screenplay make the film stand out and with this movie Indian film making has definitely gained a certain level of maturity. The music given was commendable. It took them six years to complete the shoot and as per the concept, the most part shot in the rain. The unique storyline, constant rain, vivid landscapes, and the extraordinary ending makes the film truly a Masterpiece.

There were no big actors, no item songs and no big stars. The film begins with beautiful cinematography. The story is unique, bringing mythology n the moral subject of human greed. The story is based on the Indian Kokani Brahmin mythology folktale of a demon who is loaded with gold but deprived of food.

This is not just the film it's an Experience. Truly brilliant, original, breaking the molds of Indian cinema and beyond expectation.

I bet you, you have never seen anything like this before in Bollywood. Tumbbad is not to be missed

Awesome movie. A friend just recently recommended that I watch Tumbadd and I was truly amazed by the performance of the lead actor and son. Thought I would do a review on the movie, however I see that you have already made a post, Shonali. One must watch the movie in its entirety to find out how amazing the movie is.
