💑Indian Vegan Marriage 💞Some traditions are broken to spread the message of compassion! 💚💚

Traditions are meant to be broken if it is causing harm to everyone on our planet.

Traditions are broken for the sake of compassion and I am proud to be a witness there.

Some traditions are broken in Bhopal in a Jain Vegan Marriage, one of the most important ones in Indian traditional marriages is that groom comes on a horse to marry, but here in Bhopal groom came by car and walked in instead of riding a horse to spread the message of compassion. Despite that Groom does not follow the vegan lifestyle he agrees to break this cruel tradition.

How riding a horse is a cruelty?

This is very common question arises when someone takes such step to show compassion.
A very common misconception in the society is that animals on this planet are meant to be human use and if human will not use them they will be extinct. This argument is very common whenever I talk to somebody about veganism and animal rights. Very commonly this argument is given in case of dairy animals but here I will talk only about using horses for riding.
The horses are domesticated for human greed and convenience from 100's of years. When any animal domesticated their natural breed become extinct and we only see that particular animals' artificially developed breed according to our requirement and we think they are made for a human being by nature. It is a completely wrong perception. Every living being on this planet has the freedom to live their own life and keeping them in our custody is a cruelty.
When horses used in marriage or another purpose they are produced by artificial breeding and kept in human custody until their death or sometimes killed after becoming old and unprofitable because after all, it is a business and loss is not acceptable in any case, no matter taking the life of an innocent animal. When animal work for their owner it is always calculated that how much he/she should be taken care and it is decided on their working capabilities, here animal become an object or machine rather than a life because again it is a business.
Whenever we want to take any profit by using animal, their exploitation is a must and it applies to any type of animal use, which is actually a abuse.
In today's modern era there is no need for the animal to exploit for our use and I would like to call it human stupidity which he is doing from a long time and even don't want to change himself despite that so many better alternatives are available.

I congratulate to bride, groom and their families to take this collective brave decision to break this cruel tradition and spread the message of compassion.

Yes, It's really nice to see the groom coming by car.

And... Whether the result of that fresh fruit juice contest enounced? If so, pl give me a link...

Result will be announced by tomorrow, Thanks!

Lovely post @chetanpadliya, So heartwarming to see the groom making a positive statement for animal rights on his wedding day. Many people would have simply gone on with the status quo just for the sake of not offending other people. We have to live what is true, we must move past the old ways and respect all life.

Thank you for a lovely heart warming post.

Upvoted and resteemed, I'm already a follower.

Really enjoyed your post...this is really positive news in a world that can seem only negative..you have shown us that people can change and make a difference..traditions can be broken for the greater good. Thanks for sharing!

Great post @chetanpadliya, I agree with you, I really dislike the dominant view alot of people have over nature and animals. How it is totally acceptable to use animals anyway they please and then be done with them when they are no longer useful.

Love this! So many animals are mistreated in rituals and ceremonies. We should stop doing this asap.

nice write up..some traditions just need to be abolished, even here in africa regarding marriage and day to day life
