Manual curation is a crucial part to keep this platform going as often that's the only way that quality content authors are rewarded instead of rewards just going to all the high rep and high stake users.

A lot of people don't appreciate the time and effort that goes into manual creation, looking for the content amongst the many that are posted each day, reading it ( and I mean really reading it not skim reading), checking for plagarism and recycling old post before it gets curated.

Since I started curating for @steemitworldmap that's make me more aware and appreciative of the whole manual process and its always nice to get comments back from people, even if its a simple "Thanks a lot". You know you've made a little impact on someone's day.
