Like people.
The photographs you'll see below show only representatives of the microworld, which we call mosses and lichens, molds and various types of fungi, or fungi. Their lives seem very slow to us, but, in fact, they are extremely active and act just as aggressively towards each other, competing to the last, just as people sometimes do.
While it's difficult to say for sure whether the microworld is similar to people, or whether people behave similarly to the microworld, we are certainly taught from an early age to be better, accustomed to competitions where we must achieve the maximum, just as representatives of the microworld try to capture as much surface area of the bark and wood of a tree as quickly as possible.
