Boat Trip After the Snow

It snowed in Istanbul on New Year's Day for the first time in years. We experienced such cold days for the first time in recent years. It started snowing right around the time we were celebrating New Year's, and we woke up to a snow-covered landscape.

The snow stopped around noon, and I met up with my friends. I needed to clear the snow that had accumulated on my boat, which was anchored in the harbor. My friends and I jumped on the boat and took a 10-15 minute Bosphorus tour.

Istanbul has a different kind of beautiful scenery in snowy weather. The weather was also windless, and there were no waves in the sea.

Taking a boat tour when it snows has become a routine for us.
