I am happy that it is the start of the hot and dry season because I will be enjoying more of my home Solar power system
Nowadays I am no longer struggling with discomfort caused by the hot weather because I have an air conditioner and I get to use it freely during the day. When I go home from my dialysis treatment session particularly when it is hot because our car has no A/C aside from my father not wanting to turn it on even if it is working, as soon as I lay my back on my bed, there is now a way for me to get comfortable because again I will turn on the A/C and just sleep the whole afternoon away.
It is my chance to have a better sleep because during the night I will not be able to sleep anymore particularly if I did spend the day sleeping which I have to do particularly after my dialysis treatment because it is the only time that I would feel at ease and I can easily sleep better compared to in-between dialysis session days.
Anyway, we are already in the middle of the week and the electric bill will soon come and after that the net metering service for our home solar power set-up will proceed to the next step which is the installation of bi-directional power meter which I was talking about for more than a month now.
Even though the power company is just buying the electricity for cheap from such home solar power system like ours, we will still be able to enjoy the credits we will be given once the net metering service goes in operation because we have a lot of solar panels to harvest power from the Sun's rays which will lead to zero-bill months which I hope will be the case for most of the months to come because even with cloudy days, the solar panels can still harvest significant power and because of that we can still get power credits to use later depending on our power needs here in the house.
The weather here in my country had changed considerably over the past couple of decades. It is because the wet and rainy season is not long anymore which meant that there are no more of that non-stop falling rain which actually are not causing flooding during those years. But it was replaced by heavy rainfall now, brief but devastating and causing widespread floods. It just means that my solar panels will still harvest power credits because during the wet and rainy season, the Sun will still be able to show itself unlike on the former times that there is a long time that the Sun is hiding in heavy clouds from weeks and weeks on end.
