I can't imagine how the price of things will get worse in the coming days because of the fuel price hikes
I just bough two small sacks of industrial salt which has additives (Resin Guard) to protect the resin inside the water softener tank in order to prolong its life, well apparently. So I chose to purchase it from the online store where I am always buying the things that I needed like my food supplements and such, it is quite a convenience for me to buy things from there.
Anyway, the cost of the water softener salt with resin guard is still ok, around 300 PH Pesos for a 12.5 Kg sack and I bought two which have a total cost of ₱618.0. Now the thing is that the shipping fee costs exactly as ₱540.00 which is nearly the cost if the two small bags of the salt.
My vouchers reduced the cost of the shipping fee at around ₱399.00 so the total amount that I paid is ₱1,016.82 for 25 Kilos of water softener salt (with additives). If I will purchase a 50 Kg pure salt worth 750 PH Pesos, the shipping cost will be 900 PH Pesos.
Now with the rise in fuel prices I really can't imagine how the shipping fees will alone will cost me. It is painful to realize that this burden to not only for myself but to other people and countries is happening and yet it is a reality which we have to endure until maybe the war in the middle east ends.
All we can do is to pray to God to ease our burdens as fast as possible, pray for our leaders to have more wisdom to do which is right and good so that the majority of us can just live peacefully because we are just interconnected n this world as even a ripple from the other side of the planet is causing a Tsunami of problems in the opposite side, it is unfair but that is just life so we have to trust God.
Unfortunately, hyperinflation is coming, I think.
My country is just surviving because of the money/remittances being sent to our country by oversees workers, if not for that then our country could have been like Zimbabwe because we import more than we export.
The real export was the "brains"and all that manpower going out from our country to graze a greener pasture and people has to do it because there aren't much any opportunities here to make money and raise a family.
I just hope that our government would try to develop nuclear power and then extract oil and gas deposits from the western part of my country which I do believe will give great benefits for our economy but it is yet to be done although the nuclear power right now is more possible to happen.
Fuel inflation this days is nothing to write home about. There was a time I went somewhere and paid a certain amount of money to get there without stress but now in that same place I will rather trek to go there or probably stay at home because of the triple increase in the prize of transportation. This is really bad and it's affecting us severely. You have said it all that is only God that can see us through and I believe he will definitely save us one day.
