Luxury dinner in old time

Hello my dear Steemians,
When we go to museum we love to watch something interesting, maybe some paintings, furniture, beautiful or unique jewellery and also old historical stuff. When we entered this room we were completely surprise to see such table, one look at the table made me very hungry. I was only surprised that there was no smell of the food. When we came closer we noticed that everything is not real food but made from papier mache because it was just to demonstrate what people who lived in such placed had for their meal time.
In order to get such variety of food one had to cook and often there were few staff members in kitchen but also kitchen was a big room with everything one need for cooking. Sometimes I also think that it would be great to have such place to live but on other hand it is too much work too. So I prefer my house and the size of it is right for us.

“It looks incredibly real — I would’ve gotten hungry right away too! 😄 It’s fascinating how a ‘fake’ table like that can still show just how elaborate and well-organized life was back then. And yes: in many old castles and manor houses, the servants had separate corridors and back staircases, or their own entrances, so they could do their work as discreetly as possible without disturbing the household.”
