The space between the floors
Hello my dear Steemians,
Here is the floor that had to be cleared from the rotten joint planks, I hope there will be healthy new timber placed. Our joiners are off today, so hopefully they will get better tomorrow and will be back.
Once the main planks are replaced the rest will be done by my hubby.
You’ve built quite a wild support structure there... ;-)) Was there also a layer of straw in yours? Ours has pretty much rotted away over the last 110 years.

Yes it looks horrible frightened to see that construction, no we did not have straw but some gravel. The main plank joint was rotten and the joiners now in process of replacing. The only thing is that last 2 days we did not see them, although the Secretary of hte comapny reassured me that someone will come today. We will see how long it wil take to complete it.
