I agree with you that truly “perfect” heroes are rare, and that’s exactly what makes flawed characters more interesting to explore. Even characters who seem ideal usually have weaknesses or inner conflicts that make them human. I like your mention of Inuyasha. He’s a good example of someone who isn’t purely good or bad but carries emotional complexity. That kind of balance is what I try to reflect when writing morally gray personalities.
