SEC-S30W1: Anécdotas que enseñan:(Memories of my rainy childhood).
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. Greetings and love to respected moderators and dear steemit friends. I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of God. Alhamdulillah, I am also fine with your prayers. Today I am going to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge -In the first week of its 30th season challenge, which has been organized by the respected Steemit user @marvinvelasquez. This week's topic is “Anécdotas que enseñan” ie a true story that has taught us important lessons in life. I would like to share with you a small but deeply meaningful memory of my life. Let's start.
A rainy morning on June 16, 2025. Clouds filled the sky, soft light like fog, and the sound of rain on the leaves of the trees. All in all, it was as if nature itself was singing a childhood song. I was standing next to a small park. A few children are jumping excitedly in the pooled water under the colorful slide, some are sitting and touching their hands in the mud and smiling, some are facing the sky and counting the raindrops. Their pure joy opened a door in me from years ago. It seems that I am no longer the person I am today. I have returned to my childhood.
As a child, rain was like a festival to me. When the sky was black, the mind became restless. I used to stand by the window, waiting for the first drop to fall. When it rained, I would run to my mother, "Mom, a little wet?" Mother always sternly said, “No, I will catch a cold, I will have a fever, I will fall.” His voice was restrained, but there was a strange tenderness in his eyes. Yet the child mind and understand so much logic? Whenever I get a chance, I would quietly go down to the yard. As soon as the cold drops fell on me, I felt that this was the greatest freedom in the world. I would sink my feet in the mud, look at the sky and laugh,As if at that moment all happiness became mine.
But one day that joy turned into pain. While playing on the wet ground, his feet suddenly slipped. In a moment I fell to the ground. Tears came from the intense pain. Mother cried more than me. He rushed over and picked me up, clapping my hands over and over again saying, "Is nothing wrong?" His voice was trembling, there was fear in his eyes. That day I realized for the first time, how much fear my small injury could create in his heart. After that incident, the rain-soaked door was completely closed. I may have been proud, I felt that mother was depriving me of joy. But with time I realized,Beneath that prohibition was boundless protection and selfless love.
I grew up with time. I don't run to get wet in the rain today. But when I see small children playing in the rain, I find the reflection of my childhood in them. It seems, how fast life really changes. What was once real is now a memory. What was once mischief is now a deep chapter of feelings.
This little incident taught me two big lessons. First, caution is important even in the midst of joy. And secondly, behind every parent's prohibition lies a desire for selfless love and security. What we thought as pride as children, grew up to be protection.Even today, when I hear the sound of rain, it seems that the little girl standing by the window is calling me. But now I know.Love sometimes speaks a forbidden language.

Hi, @samsunnaharsuity
It's a pleasure to see that you've accepted my challenge, welcome! Here is your evaluation:
I must say the beginning is a little confusing, but as you read on, the story becomes completely clear.
It's a very beautiful story, I must say, because it's only when we grow up that we begin to understand our parents and why they did things we sometimes didn't understand. The moral is clear and touching. Good work.
