I picked this one because I love the pattern created by the transparent colours. The middle ring of diamond shapes that are split in half by green and blue is particularly eye catching and the pattern created in the outer sections is wondetful, especially with the added touch of transparency. The hand made background is also a nice touch!
I choose this one because I love the mixture of colours, the pinks and purples blend well with the red and the grays and black contrast them to make the shapes and patterns stand out more. The alternating pattern of colours within each segment of shapes is quite striking and draws the eye in. I also like that subtle white glow around the design paired with the background they used, it brings their title of 'Energy' to life with arcs of energy seemingly releasing from the center!
I picked this one as the winner because I really love how they took on board the inspiration for this weeks design. The alternating pattern of colour within each ring of the design is very eye catching and the lighter tones of blue, pink and green offset the red beautifully making it a very decorative stained glass window. The addition of the cathedral ceiling adds even more to that inspiration and fits the design perfectly to resemble the center dome of an ornate roof carving. The shading in the blue sections almost give a sense of the sunlight gleaming through the glass!

Thank you, my friend.
Actually, the shading of the clear (blue) glass was obtained by making those windows transparent, then using a background image of sky. I'm glad that the sunlight managed to filter its way through so effectively. :-)
I've not had anyone guess which cathedral it was - I used Nice cathedral.
Well, I'm glad someone looked, lol. :-)
Not many in England have that rounded dome - only St. Paul's, I think...
I wasn't being all the fussy, actually - it just needed a clear vertical shot that would fit the round stencil. As it was, this photo had to be squashed slightly, but it worked.
I am very happy (and humble) to be among these wonderful artworks ☺ Thank you for choosing me to win #2 place 😃
