Actually, the shading of the clear (blue) glass was obtained by making those windows transparent, then using a background image of sky. I'm glad that the sunlight managed to filter its way through so effectively. :-)
I've not had anyone guess which cathedral it was - I used Nice cathedral.
Here, I'll give you this one to upvote/resteem... Another fun challenge that everyone should know about!

I did try and search through images of ceilings from cathedrals and couldnt find one that matched, I never would of guessed that one!

Not many in England have that rounded dome - only St. Paul's, I think...
I wasn't being all the fussy, actually - it just needed a clear vertical shot that would fit the round stencil. As it was, this photo had to be squashed slightly, but it worked.
