It's hard to say, what is fake and what is real
The world of AI is rapidly changing scenes around us. Sometime back I saw a picture of the Pope wearing a very fancy jacket and I was very convinced that it was real. A month back there was a AI generated interview of Bill Gates where he is openly admitting about his atrocities and even that looked very convincing, until I saw the real video. This is just the beginning in the world of AI, everyday there are so many such photos and videos circulating which are AI created and no one can really make out if they are fake or real.
This is extremely scary because this can work in favor and this can also work against. I was thinking in terms of law suits, where evidence is majorly gone on what is produced visually. In such scenarios even an innocent man can be easily proven guilty, and a guilty one can be proven innocent by creating scenes suiting the party. Images created with text prompts can create almost anything desired and we may come to a point where it would be absolutely impossible to say what is fake and what is real. Today morning I received a video where an almost nude girl is travelling by a local train in Mumbai. Impossible for something like this to happen in my city, but the video was so very convincing that anyone can believe it.
If someone has a enemy, they can easily frame them through these tools and bring harm to them. And it will be a great effort to prove innocent and guilty.
It is very much possible that nowadays all that we see on media is fake and is being constructed in a manner they want masses to absorb. It is going to open doors for deception and manipulation widely. While technology is taking us to new dimensions and being helpful to us, but at the same time it is also becoming very destructive. While the deception and manipulation happens at the same time, there also need to be solutions found for identifying the real vs the fake, else it can be a doomsday for many and with that some unworthy people can also start basking in to glory.

This AI technology in the hands of terrorists, communists and mafias, can cause a lot of damage, deceiving half the world into something that is totally false. I can't imagine the amount of media and social networks that can use it for evil.
Like everything scary in this world we don't know whose hands we are in. Hopefully in the hands of the good or less evil ones.
