Problems of discarding the old

Sometimes it becomes so difficult to discard the old. I wanted to replace a few things at my home. My dining table where 2 chairs have been damaged, I tried fixing it couple of times but it did not get fixed up, so then I decided to remove that and buy another one. I did not want to spend too much money on it, so I was looking at some good deal of used furniture being sold on some of the buy and sell fb pages for our city. I did find an excellent dining table set at a very good price, and this is bigger also then mine.

I bought it and got it home. There is another bar trolley also of which 1 wheel is damaged and I had put it on a stone support. To replace that I bought a multipurpose table from Ikea, which again has been a good deal.
I have got the delivery of that as well.

Now the thing is that I did buy both of these items and I need to sell of mine at whatever price I can get. But, I am in 2 minds, I feel that though the wheel is broken I can still use it so why not keep it. The dining table also, as of now I have shifted it on the balcony and I am feeling it's a good use there. Which additional furniture pieces coming in more space is also getting utilized, so is it a wise thing to do, I am not sure. But I am not yet fully convinced if I should sell it or not.

I am not fond of hoarding things, but when I see it's of some use to me then I find it difficult to remove it. New pieces have come and they look good but then these old ones are also not bad, if I can manage it with the little damage. It's also making me think, did I react impulsively in buying the new things without putting proper thought to it.

I have been struggling in my mind, and hubby is pushing me to remove the old. Let's see in a day or two I should be able to take a decision.
