Back to Gym routines
For the past couple of months, I had stopped going to the Gym. I was doing my regular yoga at home and evening walks. I had to start the gym again as I was feeling the decline of muscle strength. From last week I started going to the gym again. The gym is in my building itself, it's just 3 floors above my home, but I was also acting lazy. My sciatica pain emerged and I took a break and after that it was just not starting. Then last week I made a firm mind and got back to the routine of morning Gym session. Yoga is very good, and it does not build on strength but using some equipment's in the gym helps tone the body very well.
Today after a week again I was feeling good about myself. I am feeling my body again gets back into rhythm and shedding off lethargies. My daily routine is 30 mins of Tread Mill, 20 mins of cycling, light weights, some leg exercise with the instruments and full body stretching. The one thing I need to be very careful is, with the weights, because if I am not ding that right then it's causing me the sciatica pain. A month back it had completely settled down, but I keep doing foolish things and then again it erupts. I was travelling from Mumbai to Muscat and the bags were heavy this time. My 10 kg cabin bag, I had to lift it and put it in the cabin rack, that's where again the pain emerged. For 2 weeks I went very slow, but now I need to focus on strengthening my back muscles so that this pain does not keep coming again and again.
Let's see in a month's time how much progress I can make.
