Hello, Steemians! The launch date of SteemPunks' Genesis Minting Event is two days away. Today, we would like to inform you about FAQs and rarity information of SteemPunks NFTs.

FAQs about SteemPunks

(Q1) What are SteemPunks?
→ SteemPunks are 10,000 unique digital collectible characters living on the Steem blockchain.

(Q2) Who is the team working on this?
→ Behind the project team are the @upvu service developers, which have been delegated the most SP in the Steem community, and the team member of @dev.supporters, one of the main witnesses.

(Q3) How will the NFTs minting fee revenue be used?
→ The entire amount will be used for SteemPower-up only

(Q4) What cryptocurrencies can I buy with?
→ It is only possible with STEEM in your steemitwallet(steem account).

(Q5) When does Genesis Mint start?
→ As introduced in the previous post, the event will start Mar 17, 2022 @ 21:00 KST(UST+9).

(Q6) How does the genesis minting event process work?
→ SteemPunks are sold in pack of 10 NFTs and Genesis minting event does not support single NFT purchases. The event is divided into 3 round and the price increases by 10 STEEM per NFT at the end of each round. The next round will begin immediately if the quantity allocated in the previous round is sold out.

(Q7) How much does minting cost?
→ The starting price is 30 STEEM per NFT. As described above, they are sold in packs of 10 NFTs, so the base price is 300 STEEM.

(Q8) Are the prices different for each round?
→ Since the price per NFT increases by 10 STEEM at the end of each round, the price per pack for each round is as follows.

1st round (100 packs) : 300 STEEM
2nd round (300 packs) : 400 STEEM
3rd round (500 packs) : 500 STEEM

(Q9) Is there a purchase limit per account?
→ There is no purchase limit per account. However, you can only purchase up to 10 packs per transaction.

(Q10) What are the benefits of owning SteemPunks?
→ Basically, you can collect your own unique profile NFTs on Steem, and additionally get support for voting base on your SteemPunks rarity grade.

(Q11) Can I sell or transfer SteemPunks?
→ Of course. After genesis minting event has ended we will update the Steem Keychain and will also launch an NFT marketplace.

(Q12) Why are the prices different for each round?
→ Additional information will be released sequentially as the round progresses, and no detailed will be disclosed until the start of the first round. We would appreciate it if you could understand it as a differential benefit for those who willingly participate in the SteemPunks genesis minting event with lack of information.

SteemPunks NFT is divided into 4 rarity grades as above, and the probability of appearance for each rarity is shown in the table above.

Legendary, the highest rank, will appear with a 1% chance, and it will have x10 the weight of the lowest rank, Common.

How the weights are used will be announced in detail after the genesis minting event is over. (If you're smart, you will be probably already expecting it)
