Interesting 🤔 It would be a good option for spot ETH(Ethereum) ETF issuers. As far as I know, the ETH staking annual profit is around 5%.

If the issuers only hold spot ETH, it will lose the opportunity cost of the staking profit. They can use the reserve system like the deposit system by banks. So, they can take the operational cost from the staking profit. Then, they distribute left staking profit for customers.

Well, yesterday, the U.S. spot ETH ETFs were approved by the SEC(Security Exchange and Commission). The H.K. regulatory authority needs to find a distinct advantage for their products. If it happens, the ETH won't be able to compare to now.
