As long as oil price keeps around $100, I think it wouldn't be good for altcoins. I guess that's why ETH(Ethereum) price has been consolidating during the last month.
Definitely, when retail speculators rush into an asset, it's usually a good time to sell it.
I've seen many people rush into the Gold market so far. Even neighborhood ladies as well.
