The story of we; common people
For salaried people one most important day of the month is the 1st of the month. The day on which the salary gets credited. Though not all companies pay exactly on the 1st of the month, some pay in the 1st week of the month also, but around that time. When I was working in a full-time job, my salary would get credited in the account on the last day of the month and towards the date I would so anxiously wait for the salary credit.
Within one week of the salary coming into the account all the bills get paid off and necessary money transfers are done and I feel that by then the account is almost empty and then again, a long wait for the next salary to come. This is the irony of working-class people. The salary takes care of the loans and bills and handling necessary obligations after all of that what is left for self is hardly anything. Budgeting is what we need to keep doing month on month. And the month that we end up spending more, specially the festival and other occasion times, then the remaining months we need to compensate somewhere in our expenses.
Money comes in to the account and even before you realize the account is empty. I feel sometimes that the salary needs to be paid in 2 installments, one beginning of the month and one mid-month to balance out. I would prefer it that way. This I feel will benefit those who get into immediate spending of money once they have it in account, and not the necessary spending but the unnecessary spending. Nowadays with online shopping it becomes difficult to control and also one does not have to remove time to plan and go out. It's very handy. If salary is the only source of income, then a break up of pay in installments will help to balance out the expenses.
How much ever our salary is but it will never be enough. A person earning 100K will also be complaining and a person earning 1k will also be. When salary goes up our expenses automatically tend to increase in some or the other way. I hardly know a person who lives in the same means on the low earnings once they start earning more.
I believe that the day of the salary is the most important day in a common person's life.

Honestly speaking I really enjoyed going through this post. The truth remains that the more your salary the more your expenses. So I don't think depending on salary is a really good idea but rather we should have other sources of income aside our monthly salary.
I have no other choice than to resteem this post to my blog.
The times that we live in, it's better to have multiple sources of income because there is so much uncertainty and also the high inflation which kills the common man.
You have described very well the payment situation on the first or last day of the month. In my case, I receive my salary on the 15th and 30th of each month. Certainly when the fortnight is over, the salary quickly vanishes because I have to pay the debts acquired from the previous fortnight and the same situation repeats itself in the following fortnight. I agree with your idea of receiving a fortnightly advance and not having to wait to pay debts acquired at a higher price. The time is gold. Thanks for sharing, he sent you a big hug.

I agree on that nowadays people become addicted to online shopping. I am the victim because my daughter and wife both are badly addicted to the same.
It's seriously a very strong addiction that one can develop. I do like but I avoid, because once we start it just keeps going on. Difficult to control but need to always keep a check on the pocket :-)
