SEC - S15W4 : I Love local products
We live in a small town, at North sea therefore, in order to support local products we buy fresh caught fish by local Fish Merchant and I wanted to share that today.

Burntisland & Kirkcaldy Quality Fish Merchants |

One of the food that I come across here in a little town is variety of sea products and the local people create many different dishes with them. For me, I love salmon, that I prefer to have for breakfast and like sushi.
The other art of fish is boneless that I love to fry with onion and potatoes.
In the past we bought fish in supermarket but about few years ago the local Fish Merchant opened his shop here on High street.
Since we have this shop we buy fresh fish there, when compare it with the prizes you can notice that it is expensive but on other hand the guys go to cold sea and spend hours there hard working, getting cold and wet and at the end need to prepare all the fish so that customers do not do much and just can cook at home.
We are happy to pay such money and to tell the truth there are not many customers in shop. Young children do not like such fresh fish, I actually heard from one little buy there who said that she likes fish fingers because they do not taste like fish. That is very weird to have such young generation.
Fish with potatoes |

When I think about the time when I was young, we also had often fish, it was easy to prepare because you do not need many different products but only few like:
- of course, you need some fish fillet butter without bones
- few potatoes, maybe about 5 or 6
- one onion
- if I have some mushrooms then I just add them.
I fry first fish from both sides till golden crust, then I add all the rest onion, potatoes some salt and pepper and a bit of water and usually leave it on medium heat for 10 min. In about 10 minute the fish with potatoes are ready and very delicious.

Hello friend
You shared how you get along with the local products so well. You spend so much to acquire the locally harvested fish form the fishermen. Your preference is the salmon and boneless fish which is so insightful. The fishermen are exposed to long days and cold to get these local products at your doorstep. You stressed that the local food is so delicious as you prepare with onions and potatoes. I enjoyed your entry and success in the challenge my dear friend
Thank you for visiting my post, it is nice to have local product providers, because then we know the quality and also it is good for growth of local area :)

welcome ma,am..
Sometimes they don't stand the smell of fish which is suppressed in fish finger due to spices. I know one girl who eats fish but leaves home when it is cooked. There's a saying in Bengali "Mache Bhate bangali" means Bengali survive on fish and rice. I really like your passion for fish and cooking. Regards and best wishes ma'am 🙏🏾
It is indeed the best friend of survivors if there is any water side and one has fire then the people can survive. I am glad that you enjoy my post :)
My pleasure!

Congratulations! This post has been upvoted through steemcurator04. We support quality posts, good comments anywhere, and any tags.my dear @stef1 A small food item has been presented to us. That is fish. Fish is a favorite dish of our Bengali poets which is called fish rice bengali. We Bengalis always eat fish and love fish. I enjoyed reading your post and it reminded me of my food fish. Fishmongers are making a lot of profit by selling fish. Also we enjoy a good food by eating that fish
