The diary game||29/11/2025|| Attending the Nigerian National Meetup 2025

Dear diary,

Today is one special day that I wont forget quickly. From morning till night, everything just happen so sweet. Nevertheless,I wake up very early because I didn't want to miss anything ahead of the day. I had two even to attend. The traditional marriage of a friend and The Nigerian National meetup of 2025 which was a big event. It's the Nigerian 2nd National Meetup, held here in Uyo which is Akwa Ibom state capital. As I do prepare ahead, my mind was full with lots of joy, because I knew that I'll see a lot of people and learn new things.

Morning and afternoon hours

However, i woke up around 6:00am. And after my normal morning activities and daily routine, there wasn't time to waste then i began the journey to my friends place which the marriage will be hold.

So when the time was 7:30am, I was already on the road. The taxi that carried me was full with other people that were going to the same direction and there wasn't delay. As I reach there I helped my friends in preparation and arrangements for the marriage ahead . After much hours invested in the preparation, it was already noon which everything were set.

At exactly 12 pm the marriage begins, and guess what!,my phone shut down. I was really sad because I couldn't take pictures as I expected. My friend @jewel005 help me with his power bank and I begin charging my phone.

After some time of charging I unplugged to take the below pictures seen below so take your time to view them and see the joy in our face.

The Nigerian National Meetup was still on my mind I couldn't wait for the marriage to come to and end so I left. Let the meetup gist begins....

Evening Hours

I went back home at exactly 3pm, I got prepared wore my T-shirt and jeans with my shoes. I checked the mirror and I looked good.😊 I Left reaching the road I boarded another taxi to the event ground. Which is the uba mini stadium here in Uyo. As I arrived steemians friends were there but not as much as I taught. I greeted everyone and I took my sit.Everybody was talking about the meetup, and we were all happy that it's held here in Uyo .

By 4:00pm,discussion started for today @bossj23 was the MC. He did his job quite well. He called onto @xkool24,@goodybest @ngoenyi and @okere-blessing to the vip table. We Cheers and clapped for them.

Different discussion were made and in an easy and understanding way that even the newcomers will understand what they were talking about. Different speakers share their experience. @bossj23 talk about best way to take pictures for the purpose of our post here on Steemit and different steemians were call out for practical. It was really a great moment of lecture. @xkool24 deliberate too on Steemit growth and that interaction is really necessary to make the platform lively.

While @ngoenyi discuss about Steemit challenges and gain. This really helps us so well. I really learn today that meetups is not just for networking, but it's a real tool for development.

Later, we did breakout sessions. Which game were played. I was called out to join one of the team for the game. Here is the pictures of the game session.

Giveaway too was later followed. After all the good moments entertainment comes in,we ate and drank. Then at bossj23 began singing with his melodic voice, he went ahead to sing Pakistan song too. We gave him an appluse. We laugh and enjoyed the moment.Then finally the photo session came and below are the gallery of some of the pictures we took.
