The Diary Game | 04/09/2023

Introduction

Monday came fresh like a newborn baby 😊. The weather was very pleasing, with no excessive heat or cold, and the birds chirped happily around the house. Oh well, these creatures have enough to feed on especially the threshed maize in the backyard, lol, their labor for food is lessened. Back to me, it's a lovely Monday with a lot plans.

The Diary

My wife is home with me today because she's off-duty. She planned to do her hair today and I have decided to accompany her to the salon, this was scheduled to happen in the early hours of the day.

But before we head out, breakfast is very necessary because it's going to be a long day. Over the past few days, I have been treating Typhoid fever and that has been a great decider for my intakes these days. For the morning, my meals are Ogi or Pap ( a liquid delicacy typically made from maize) and Efo riro (which comprises Amaranthus viridis, pepper, fish, locust beans...).

Medically, Ogi is known to be a very good meal to consume during Typhoid treatment. Patients are sometimes placed on this meal and fruits alone throughout the recuperating phase.

We were set to head out to the salon around 10:30. The location of the salon is just a few kilometers from where we live. But I'd take some pictures before stepping out, that's how I feel for the day 😊 .

We spent pretty long hours at the salon and while the hairdo was ongoing, I was busy with my mobile phone researching and getting involved in my daily activities. Time was well above 16:00 before we left the salon.

On arrival back home, I've got no time to relax because I have a few things on my table which are left undone earlier. I got a call last night from the then Factory Manager of a company where I once worked as a Production Engineer (Intern), who informed me about his independence now and how he will be willing to have his new company's website designed by me.

After he had narrated what he wanted which is just going to be about just two web pages for now, we finalized the discussion. I spent a few minutes designing a simple landing page for the website while the product pages are scheduled to happen another day.

Dinner was ready while I was still at work and my wife had been waiting for me, so I had to suspend the job till another time. I had fried Gizzard and Plantain for the night.

Conclusion

In conclusion, with the tight Monday schedule, I think I also spared time to be romantic a bit by following my wife to the salon 😊 . I utilized the moment spent at the salon to perform other activities that are important and that make every bit of my stay productive. It's a pleasure putting up another piece on the diary session today.
