If you were given full authority for one year in your community or country, what is the first issue you would address?

This competition will give us a lot of ideas about real life because it is an educational competition. Although it is not possible because we ourselves can never be the government. But if we ever get the chance, we want to change a system that should solve the problem.

If my country gives me maximum power for one year then I will definitely try to run Bangladesh as a fair country. Since I live in both cities and villages, I think the biggest problem of our country is the problem of security system. People in every place of Bangladesh are currently facing security problems. Especially people in different industrial areas of the city cannot go out for security or protection. Especially during the noon and late night hours, the security system is very weak in Bangladesh.

Most people in the city do not feel safe to go out at night. Especially women cannot go out alone at night because of the weak security system in Bangladesh. Most women are victims of eve-teasing. Most of the youth in the country are victims of muggers. Even robberies are common in different parts of Bangladesh.

Since Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh, muggings, thefts, and robberies are very common in Dhaka. The Bangladesh security system or legal system is the first to be responsible for this problem. Starting from the office and court, the education system and important institutions of Bangladesh, the security system is very weak. For this, if I can be the government of Bangladesh for a year, the first thing I will do is solve the problem of the security system and improve it.

Why did you choose this issue over others?

There are several reasons why I chose this issue over others. I always keep myself informed about the overall identity of Bangladesh. Currently, the Bangladesh government has fallen, so there is no specific Bangladesh government. Some of the robbers, looters and thieves in Bangladesh are taking advantage of this opportunity. However, the police are not making any effort to bring these forces back because the law is currently being sold to money. Apart from this, there are some other significant reasons.

01	Terrorism	Source

• Terrorism is one of the most heinous crimes in Bangladesh. Terrorist attacks have increased in various urban areas of Bangladesh because there is currently no government management in Bangladesh. That is why, due to the weak security system in various alleys of the city, influential people are being robbed of their money. Those who speak for the truth are being shot dead. The police of Bangladesh are being sold to money and are joining forces with terrorists. That is why the economic, political and educational systems of Bangladesh are failing. Terrorists are increasing their terrorism by making illegal weapons immorally.

02	Kidnapping and robbery	Source

• Due to the weakness of the security system, kidnapping and robbery are increasing in Bangladesh. I have heard of cases where an entire building has been robbed in a planned manner and some dishonest police force is involved in it. Due to the weakness of the security system, children are being kidnapped and their lives are being demanded. Shops and gold shops are being robbed constantly.

03	Opposition clash	Source

• Currently, the general public of Bangladesh is suffering due to the opposition attacks from both sides. Among these, political problems and family problems are one of them. Sometimes children, young people, women are attacked and lose their lives due to opposition clashes. Maybe this attack is due to the conspiracy of an opposition party, but due to the weakness of the security system, no proper action is taken. The problem of this opposition clash is the biggest problem in Bangladesh.

04	Police corruption and weakness	Source

• Police immorality and corruption are the weakest management in Bangladesh. If the police organization in Bangladesh was honest and active, then such immoral activities and terrorist attacks would not have happened in Bangladesh. Police management in Bangladesh is very weak, especially they sell their responsibilities for some money. For a little money, they help bring illegal weapons into the country. Terrorist attacks are carried out with those weapons. Most of the police in Bangladesh accept the Ghosh. This has eroded the trust of the people of Bangladesh in the law.

What is that one difficult decision you would have to make?

Since this is a big problem in Bangladesh, this system has to be changed. Therefore, it has to be highlighted as an important issue. It is not possible to change the security system at the beginning, it requires planned knowledge and planning. At the beginning, all the legal organizations in Bangladesh have to be closely monitored. From there, it will be understood in which section the security is weak.

At the beginning I want to unite all the police forces of Bangladesh. It will be very difficult to select the honest and dishonest policemen from among them. But I want to assure them that you will be able to protect your country while remaining within the law, for which you will be paid an adequate amount. If any police force does not agree to this, then it should be directly identified that he is basically a dishonest person. Then he will be directly sued. There are other such law enforcement agencies that are responsible for corrupting the system.

This time I want to update the security system first to improve the security system of Bangladesh. This includes high-quality updated CCTV cameras. CCTV cameras will have to be set up on all levels of the country's roads and a control room will be provided to protect those CCTV cameras. It may be that there are many hairs standing on end in Bangladesh who can steal the cameras, so first of all, arrangements will have to be made to store the CCTV cameras, that is, they will have to be locked. Two police officers will be appointed in each control room who will technically operate the security system.

My most difficult decision will be to set up one detective in every city. Because detectives are the king of a kind of powerful security system. The police force and all the law enforcement agencies are afraid of the detective agency, so I want to use the detective agency to record all the misdeeds. I want to set up a strong law enforcement system in every place so that terrorism is free. From evening to late night, every alley of the city will have to be patrolled by the police force, which will make the robbers and robbers cautious.

How would you explain this decision to people who disagree with you?

I think this will be a very complicated step. Because it is a reform work, it is natural that many people will not agree with me. It is possible to update the security system of a country only when you can manage the people in that system honestly. However, there are many dishonest people who cannot handle the greed of money and cannot refrain from these dishonest acts. I will not be able to move forward with the work because of them. Then I will have to use international intelligence agencies to improve this security system. You all know that international intelligence agencies can master the security system of every country.

However, to get the help of this agency, I will have to bring together people from big law firms in Bangladesh. Because without their support, it is difficult to get the help of international level intelligence agencies. The honest officers and dishonest officers of each section have to be separated and the dishonest officers have to be dismissed with the support of honest officers, only then can the security system be improved.

If I want to build Bangladesh as a modern and safe country by following all the above rules, then I have to follow these steps. I want all the people of Bangladesh to move safely on the roads. All the children and women of Bangladesh to feel safe so that they can move on the roads with a free mind until late at night if necessary. I want the CCTV cameras to be so updated that if there is any criminal act, the police are immediately at that place and take the right action. Measures must also be taken so that the police do not accept bribes to punish the criminals. Then it is possible to change the security system of Bangladesh.
