I hope everyone is well. Maybe some SteemPro Blogs users find that their session gets automatically logged out. Why it happened? We are here to explain it.

SteemPro Blogs use react-secure-storage, providing the most secure way to store data in local storage. Additionally, we have implemented the SteemPro Keychain mechanism, where the key is first encrypted with a Password, and then a second layer of security is added by react-secure-storage.

Ok cool, but why was my session logged out without prior notice? 😉

react-secure-storage using the different parameters of the user's browser to encrypt a value. One of them is the ScreenPrint, It gets changed when the screen size is changed from the screen size when a user login. I hope you get your answer. When your screen size is changed the session is not unlocked successfully and you are logged out.

It is a good security measure, but we are going to remove some checks for the future support of upcoming SteemPro Auth, which has achieved great and unbreakable security. Now users can enjoy any device orientation or use the desktop mode on mobile devices without any issues.

Moreover, we are planning to start development on the SteemPro Auth, Which will let to view your secured keys and this app will also be available for Mobile devices.
